Current

I am looking for a Ph.D. position in economics and predoctoral (pre-doc) positions.

Short Bio

I am Yuyang Zhan (詹禹阳, pronunciation), a forth-year undergraduate student in the School of Labor and Human Resources at Renmin University of China, majoring in Labor Economics. You can view my CV here.

I am interested in the intersections of Political Economy, Development Economics, and Behavioral Economics. I explore how individuals’ beliefs, ideology, social norms, and cognitive biases interact with development and political outcomes. Currently, I am particularly interested in how misperceptions about others’ beliefs create economically meaningful impacts, and how information interventions can correct these biases. Besides, I am also interested in probabilistic judgment. Scroll down to see more information.
